Succulents have been sweeping the nation for quite some time now, and because I am a late adopter, I FINALLY got one. And I think I did very well. I invested $2.49 at Ralphs, and walked out of the store with the cutest Zebra Cactus ever. I was just reading about them online and they are described as having "white wart like tubercles" that cover the backs of the leaves. You'd think they could come up with a slightly more flattering description. Wart like?
Anyway, I had the perfect little receptacle to transplant it. A very cute vintage white porcelain high heeled shoe that my sister gave me a few years ago. I think it would make Kelly Wearstler jelly.
